Position Overview:
The Graphic Designer will support the creation of visual content that reinforces the identity and mission of Amazon Frontlines. The designer will work closely with the design team to develop graphic materials used across digital platforms and print media. This role is key in ensuring visual consistency across all materials and contributing creative ideas for communication projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong design sense, attention to detail, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of speed and organization.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented individual with a passion for design and who seeks innovative ways to communicate. They should have an artistic instinct, a good eye for composition, and the ability to visualize complex concepts clearly. The ideal candidate must collaborate with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, listen carefully, and have sound judgment when designing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Graphic Design: Create visually compelling designs for various materials, including infographics, social media graphics, publications, brochures, and digital banners, ensuring consistency with Amazon Frontlines’ identity.
- Design Team Support: Collaborate closely with the Design Coordinator and other team members in the conceptualization and development of design projects, such as web page mockups, Instagram carousels, and other products.
- Project Management: Participate in managing multiple design projects, meeting deadlines, and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
- Content Adaptation: Adapt existing designs for different platforms and formats, ensuring proper visualization and legibility.
- Digital Content Development: Contribute to creating content for the website and other digital channels, supporting the organization’s mission and campaigns.
- Team Meetings Participation: Provide creative ideas and actively participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative concepts for design projects.
- Learning and Development: Stay updated on design trends and new tools, applying this knowledge to improve the materials created.
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or related fields.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in NGOs, advertising agencies, or media.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Basic knowledge of web and multimedia design tools is a plus (e.g., Adobe XD, After Effects).
- Creativity and Critical Thinking: Ability to contribute creative ideas and solve design problems with critical thinking.
- Communication Skills: Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and collaborate in a team environment.
- Attention to Detail: High level of precision in delivering projects, ensuring that materials reflect the organization’s visual identity.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Illustration and Motion Graphics: Skills in illustration and motion graphics will be highly valued.
- CSS Knowledge: Familiarity with CSS to support web design tasks.
- Basic knowledge of English (Intermediate level is highly valued).
- Previous experience in media (highly valued).

Location of Work:
Although this position is remote/online, it would be desirable to be based in the Americas due to time zone differences and working hours.
