Alex Goff

Development Lead, Partnership I moved to the Amazon full time in 2012 to join the ClearWater project in its initial stages. I wanted to live closer to communities to better understand the realities of community life, and was inspired to join a movement for clean water in which community members played a central role in the visioning and leadership process. What I never imagined is how the project would grow, driven by the vision, to become a movement for rainforest protection and indigenous cultural survival. I’m happy to contribute to the spirit of the organization, to spend time with my dear friends in the A’i, Siekopai, Sionabai and Waorani communities, and to share in the hard work, learning and laughter that, to me, define this movement.
